This group has been one of my favorites this year. Their music is heavily involved and encompasses multiple layers, ranges, and is always unexpected. There is a fine line that borders genuis and pure WTF?! Wild Beasts dances a sultry tango across that line and OWNS IT!!!

I plan to start sharing some of my current ear candy with all my lovelies. You’ll start to get a sense of what I adore in songs. To start you off, I’m posting a song by the lovely Janelle Monae. She brings a refreshing yet vintage style to the music scene. This track is “BaBopByeYa” off her latest album Archandroid. Her voice is a rare gem but what has me diggin’ this tune more and more these days is the arrangement.

Munchkin battles

So occasionally I like to get into full geek mode and game. One such game I enjoy is Munchkin. The last session of Munchkin was particularly long and full of scheming, back-stabbing, and pure underhanded mayhem. After hours of this...I defeated the Mr. and Terzi with the card below.

For those unfamiliar with the game (those who haven't fully embraced you inner nerd)..the potted plant card is the weakest and lousiest card in the batch. Basically I defeated a Goliath-type monster with a dandelion. BWHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! It was miraculous! And as a reward...I received the card below...so appropriated named. :)

Painting Ish

Among many activities planned for my 5th anniversary with the Mr., we spent some time at one of my favorite Atlanta spots Wired & Fired. This cute little "pottery playhouse" is a great place for crafty creatures like myself.

The Mr. picked out a coffee mug to paint and since I already have two previously painted mugs from there, I decided to go all paint-by-no-numbers on a candle holder.

 And the finished products......

 Ohhhh first post jitters. I figure rather spilling my guts out to everyone online and posting daily rants and vents, I rather contribute awesome randomness. This randomoness may consist of pictures I've taken, videos of hees and haas, and a lot of yays! So with that said...enjoy some Egyption cheese...and remember...
